Bullitt is an endless source of love pills in hit format that mark the vital soundtrack of their lovers. For me, that fell in love with them since its inception, that distant 2009 where they gave us their first and rabid "Squared Wheels", they have absolutely stole my heart, but it never stops to amaze me, the virtuosity they show when doing something so complicated with such insulting -apparent - ease.

In BMajor (BCore Disc, 2023) we find all the pieces of the sound puzzle that Bullitt has been building over the years. Overwhelming punk-rock (“Avalanche", "Time of the Year"), indie rock by the book (“Counters", "For a While"), power pop ("Fix Myself", "Step in the Real"), approaches to hard-rock/grunge ("Out of Sight", "Hold the Light", “Echoes", "You and I") and of course his trademark epic mid-tempos ("The Conflict", "I will Wait").

Bullitt deserve to be recognized as one of the great bands of the last fifteen years in Spain, but those of us who know it -like them- don't need anyone to tell us. We just hit play, reproduce and enjoy.

Because listening to Bullitt again is like going to eat at mom's home. It never disappoints and you always leave wondering why the hell you don't go more often.

Escuchar de nuevo a Bullitt es como volver a casa de tu madre a comer. Sólidos en la base, frescos en los detalles y contundentes en el resultado. Bullitt vuelven con la misma fuerza de siempre.

Bullitt es fuente inagotable de píldoras de amor en formato himnos que marcan la banda sonora vital de sus amantes. Será que a mí, declarado enamorado de ellos desde sus inicios, aquel lejano 2009 donde nos regalaron su primer y rabioso Squared Wheels, me tienen absolutamente conquistado, pero no deja de sorprenderme el virtuosismo que demuestran al realizar algo tan complicado con tan insultante -aparente- facilidad.

En BMajor (BCore Disc, 2023) encontramos todas las piezas del puzzle sonoro que Bullitt ha ido construyendo a lo largo de los años. Punk-rock arrollador (Avalanche, Time of the Year), indie rock de manual (Counters, For a While), power pop (Fix Myself, Step in the Real) acercamientos al hard-rock/grunge (Out of Sight, Hold the Light, Echoes, You and I) y por supuesto medios tiempos épicos marca de la casa (The Conflict, I will Wait).

Bullitt merecen ser reconocidos como una de las grandes bandas de los últimos quince años en el estado español, pero los que lo sabemos -como ellos- no necesitamos que nadie nos lo diga. Sólo le damos al play, reproducimos y disfrutamos.

Porque escuchar de nuevo a Bullitt es como ir a comer a casa de tu madre. Nunca decepciona y siempre te vas pensado en porqué cojones no vas más a menudo.
